The Song is Turnstile but it's "sang" by fictitious band "The Everything You Knows"
This week, we’re excited to bring you the latest Easter egg from none other than Netflix. In the fourth episode of the Tim Robinson show, a particular sketch called Children’s Choir caught our attention. What made it even more intriguing was the inclusion of some familiar sounds, although they came from a relatively unknown name (until you give it a quick Google search, that is).
Prepare to be hooked by the infectious pop-punk anthem, “Listening,” performed by a band called The Everything-You-Knows. However, upon delving deeper into this track, we discovered something remarkable. The original composition and performance of this captivating song were none other than the talented quartet comprising Brendan Yates, Pat McCrory, Daniel Fang, and Franz Lyons – the creative forces behind Turnstile.
It’s always exciting to stumble upon hidden gems like these, where established artists showcase their versatility and surprise us with their musical contributions beyond their main projects.
Let’s also give a little shout out the the music supervisor, shall we.
With “Listening,” The Everything-You-Knows, featuring the talented members of Turnstile, delivers a vibrant pop-punk sound that will undoubtedly resonate with fans old and new alike.
