This month’s collaboration saw DC Shoes team up with its very own CD to create a hardy selection of vintage skateboard shapes that marked the introduction of Clarke’s own DCV’87 line.
The Jamaican-born, London-raised designer has lived many different lives, showcasing his abilities as a major player in high-end and streetwear fashion. A tribute to Clarke’s background and the exciting nexus of style, performance, and fashion that led him here, DC x DCV’87 is a profoundly personal partnership.
DC is best exemplified by skate team rider and streetwear icon Lucien Clarke, who currently serves as the beloved brand’s creative director. As part of this month’s cooperation, DC Shoes and its very own CD worked together to produce a robust collection of classic skateboard forms that served as the launchpad for Clarke’s own DCV’87 line.
