The event boasted a lineup that spanned the entire spectrum of rock music, from fresh faces to seasoned pros. Ayron Jones kicked off the evening with a high-octane performance, setting the stage for what was to come. With infectious tunes and palpable passion, Jones ignited the crowd and paved the way for the rest of the acts.
Following Jones was Dayseeker, who mesmerized the audience with their emotive lyrics and commanding instrumentals. As the night progressed, the intensity only grew with the arrival of Asking Alexandria. The British metalcore giants unleashed a tidal wave of aggression and energy, reminding everyone why they’re a powerhouse in the rock scene.
Next up was Seether, delivering a melodic yet impactful performance that resonated with fans old and new. Armed with a catalog of hits and a grunge-infused sound, they left an indelible mark on the night. Finally, headlining the festival was none other than Staind, whose iconic songs like “It’s Been Awhile” and “Outside” prompted sing-alongs from every corner of the venue, solidifying their legendary status in the genre.
Overall, 98Rockfest was an unforgettable night for rock aficionados in Tampa Bay, showcasing the best that the genre has to offer.
