New Joint EP With Dropout Kings Coming In This Summer

Legendary SoCal artists (Hed) P.E have released their brand new single “Bartenders” with Dropout Kings featuring DJ Lethal from Limp Bizkit/House of Pain. The track is a reloaded version of (Hed) P.E signature song “Bartender” off of the group’s breakthrough album “Broke”, which celebrated its 20th anniversary last year.

“When someone suggested we remake this (Hed) P.E classic, I initially couldn’t wrap my brain around the idea because this track is a classic. Then Staig and Eddie from Dropout Kings brought some new ideas to the table on how we could do a unique new take on the song,” said (Hed) P.E frontman Jared Gomes. “They brought that trap metal vibe to it and then DJ Lethal from House of Pain/Limp Bizkit wanted to jump on it and add some scratches to bring this track to life and create a rad version that stands next to the original.”

DJ Lethal added, “When I heard about this collaboration, I was instantly down to rock. Old school and new school rock together.”

The song is also the first single from (Hed) P.E and Dropout Kings forthcoming new joint EP scheduled for this Summer. The EP pairs together the G-Punk pioneers with the Trap-Metal stylings of their Suburban Noize labelmates to create a powerful knock-out punch.

(Hed) P.E are the pioneers of the G-Punk sound, which fuses together punk-rock, metal, hip-hop and reggae. The band has toured the world for 20 years sharing the stage with the likes of Suicidal Tendencies, System of a Down, KORN, Tech N9ne, Tool as well as the original Black Sabbath on the iconic Ozzfest tour. (Hed) P.E experienced a creative resurgence after signing with Suburban Noize Records in the early 2000s and was instrumental in developing the booming underground scene. The band recently released a new album “Califas Worldwide” in February via Suburban Noize Records.

After a Grammy consideration for “Best New Artist” and achieving mainstream rock radio success with the Linkin Park-leaning single “Virus,” the Phoenix band Dropout Kings have been on a high since signing with Suburban Noize last year. The band took their chaotic live show on the road with (Hed) P.E and then Nonpoint and SAUL, before playing several radio festivals such as: KIWR 89.7’s “The River’s End of Summer Bash” with an impressive lineup that included Machine Gun Kelly, WJJR’s “Earth Day Birthday” with Shinedown, and many others. Dropout Kings recently released their new trap-metal rager “Hey Uh”, from their upcoming second album “Riot Music”, coming later this year.

(Hed) P.E wrapping up The Brothers In Arms Tour with Drowning Pool and Ill Nino, before hitting the road on the Nu Metal Madness Tour in July with Crazy Town, Adema, and Flaw in July.
