Wet Leg brought their song “Chaise Lounge” to the stage at the BRIT Awards 2023 on Saturday, where they were up for several awards in connection to their breakout debut album last year.
Shortly after their set, Wet Leg won the 2023 BRIT Awards for Best New Artist and Group of the Year. During their acceptance speech for Best New Artist, they recited Alex Turner’s famous acceptance speech from when Arctic Monkeys won the Album of the Year award back in 2014. “That rock ‘n’ roll.
