According to the band, this song began with a simple yet intriguing question: What if God whispered in your ear, “You are my most magnificent creature”? They pondered how that feeling would sound, and like a magical summoning, they blew The Voidz conch shell, gathering their musical warriors for another epic quest. The result? Since their incredible album “Virtue” in 2018, Julian Casablancas + The Voidz have treated us to a few special tracks. They composed one for a controversial video game, “Alien Crime Lord” in Grand Theft Auto. Then, they delighted us with “Did My Best” released via Terrible Records. They even showed their support for an underdog major league baseball team with “The Eternal Tao 2.0” dedicated to The Mets. And who could forget the unique celebration of robot love gone sour with the demo “Infinity Repeating” in honor of Daft Punk’s 10-year RAM anniversary?
Formed in 2014, this extraordinary band is made up of the charismatic Julian Casablancas (who sometimes rocks out with another fantastic group called The Strokes, you may have heard of them), the talented Jeff Kite, the wild Jereamy “Beardo” Gritter, the awesome Amir “Yag-man” Yagmai, the talented Jake Bercovici, and the illustrious drumming phenom Alex “the Cat” Carapetis. They burst onto the scene with their unstoppable debut album “Tyranny” in 2014, capturing attention from all corners of the world. Since then, they’ve embarked on world tours, graced the covers of prestigious magazines, and crafted awe-inspiring music videos that exceed all budgets.
