Kid Rock is making headlines for his unexpected departure from the stage during a performance at Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan Rashbaum’s birthday celebration this past weekend. The event took place at JBJ’s Nashville, a restaurant and venue owned by Jon Bon Jovi, located in Nashville, TN.
During the celebration, Kid Rock joined David Bryan and the band on stage to perform Creedence Clearwater Revival’s classic hit, “Proud Mary.” However, things took a turn when Rock attempted to get the audience to participate by clapping along. When the crowd didn’t respond with the enthusiasm he expected, he became visibly frustrated and voiced his displeasure.
“F–k them. F–k them. Hey, hey, stop. If you ain’t gonna clap, we [ain’t] gonna sing. That’s how it’s gonna go,” Rock told the audience, expressing his disappointment with their lack of energy.
Shortly after, his frustration reached a breaking point. Kid Rock abruptly declared, “You know what? F*ck y’all, you ain’t gonna clap, I’m gone,” before walking off the stage, leaving the crowd in shock.
A clip of the performance has since surfaced online, capturing the dramatic moment. What are your thoughts on Kid Rock’s reaction? Let us know in the comments below!
