Fans can expect fresh takes from the likes of Pennywise, Zac Brown Band, Slightly Stoopid, Jack Johnson, Jakob Nowell, G. Love & Special Sauce, DENM, and more.

Original Sublime drummer Bud Gaugh spoke with SNSMix.com, reflecting on the impact of the tribute project:

“I remember when we came out with that tribute album ‘Look at All the Love We Found’. It was exciting to see all these different groups get together and show us some love and respect. I mean, these are bands I’ve idolized, looked up to, and respected for everything they’ve done.”

When asked to name a standout from the new lineup of covers, one performance clearly resonated with Gaugh:

“I gotta say—when I heard their version of ‘Date Rape,’ I got mad,” Gaugh said with a chuckle. “They actually played it the way that song was supposed to be played. It was such a good version. Hey man, hats off to you guys. Norwood, you guys are the best. Angelo—I love you guys. Fishbone, thank you all for everything you’ve done. You lit the fire under my seat and kept me warm. My heart’s been really warmed by the gesture of you guys putting this song out the way it was supposed to be written.”

And there’s more to come. Sublime is officially back in the studio, working on their first full-length album since 1996.
