Seattle’s iconic alternative station 107.7 The End is officially back in the concert game—and they’re not wasting any time making a statement. After a six-year hiatus from live events, The End of Summer festival returns on Friday, September 12th, bringing one of the most anticipated lineups the Pacific Northwest has seen in years.
Headlining the event is none other than Sublime, now fronted by Jakob Nowell, son of the late, great Bradley Nowell. This marks the first time the reimagined Sublime has performed in the Pacific Northwest, and fans are buzzing about the chance to hear the band’s legendary catalog live with Jakob carrying the torch.
Also hitting the stage are pop-punk favorites The Ataris, known for their timeless anthem “The Boys of Summer,” alongside rising indie-pop outfit Almost Monday and Seattle’s own Hannah Duckworth, a breakout talent from The End’s Locals Only spotlight.
“This is the kind of show we’ve been dreaming about bringing back,” says Christine Malovetz, programmer for 107.7 The End. “Sublime’s music has been a part of our DNA for decades, and we couldn’t be more excited to have them headline this special night.” Brand Manager Christy Taylor adds, “It’s a celebration of new beginnings for both the station and the band. We can’t wait to share it with the Pacific Northwest.”
Between the return of one of Seattle’s most beloved radio stations to the live music scene and Sublime’s long-awaited debut in the region with Jakob Nowell, this show feels like a cultural reset—one the PNW has been waiting for.
Tickets are on sale now through marymoorlive.com and Ticketmaster. Don’t sleep on this one—it’s shaping up to be the ultimate end-of-summer party.
