There’s something stirring in Kurt Deimer’s new music video for “Only Time Will Tell”—a moody, contemplative slow-burn that lingers like a midnight drive through regret. Framed in noir-toned shadows and restless energy, the video offers a glimpse into Deimer’s expanding creative universe, where classic rock pedigree meets cinematic ambition.
Co-written with Bon Jovi guitarist Phil X, the track is a standout cut from And So It Begins…, Deimer’s debut full-length that arrived with little subtlety and even less restraint. The album—produced by sonic architect and five-time GRAMMY® winner Chris Lord-Alge—is a genre-blending, soul-searching mission statement that dares to swing for the rock fences while keeping one boot planted firmly in the storytelling dirt.
“This song is about the uncertainty of life,” says Deimer. “We don’t know what’s ahead of us, but we’ve got to keep living—and only time will tell what happens. It came to me late one night in my Ohio studio. I was reflecting on life and wrote down the line: ‘Will I see heaven or hell—only time will tell.’ I sent it over to Phil, and he turned it into something truly special.”
And So It Begins… doesn’t stop at introspection. It roars and flexes. From the bombast of “Live or Die” to the grunge-funk stomp of “Back of the School,” Deimer’s debut is a mixtape of modern rebellion. Cameos from Queensrÿche’s Geoff Tate and reinterpretations of Pink Floyd and The Doors only deepen the album’s reach.
Currently on the road with Tesla, Deimer is translating that vision to stages across America. He’s not just performing songs—he’s building a legacy, brick by riff-heavy brick.
As for what’s next? “Only time will tell.” But if this latest release is any sign, Deimer’s just getting started.
