Rob Zombie Drops Ferocious New Single “Heathen Days,” Teases Return to Hellbilly Chaos on Upcoming Album The Great Satan

Rob Zombie is diving headfirst back into the inferno. The heavy metal hell-raiser, horror auteur and longtime pop-culture provocateur has unleashed “Heathen Days,” the second single from his forthcoming album The Great Satan, arriving February 27th, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records.

The track marks another jolt of adrenaline from Zombie’s eighth studio LP, which he’s teased as a deliberate return to the raw, unhinged spirit of his early Hellbilly era. It follows the massive success of The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy, his 2021 release that crashed the Top 10 and reaffirmed his status as one of heavy music’s most enduring ringleaders.

“Heathen Days” doesn’t stray far from the classic Zombie recipe: a blitz of chainsaw guitars, B-movie psychedelia, and rhythm-section thunder built for maximum carnage. But there’s a punked-up, back-to-basics swing to this one—an unmistakable nod to the stripped-down grime of his late ’90s and early 2000s output.

The Great Satan looks equally unhinged on paper. The 15-track lineup reads like a grindhouse double feature set to music, packed with titles that promise a collision of grind, groove, and gleeful depravity:

Track Listing – The Great Satan
01. F.T.W. 84
02. Tarantula

If “Heathen Days” is any indication, Zombie’s latest might be his loudest, wildest, and most unapologetically filthy chapter yet—a record built to incinerate arenas, mosh pits, and whatever speakers dare to get too close.
