Alabama Shakes Announce Massive 2026 Spring Tour & Tease New Music

Alabama Shakes are officially back in motion. The four-time GRAMMY®-winning trio have announced a sprawling 2026 spring tour, their biggest stateside run since reuniting—and another strong signal that the band’s long-anticipated next chapter is fully underway.

The tour kicks off April 16 in Richmond, Virginia, winding through amphitheaters, major cities, and high-profile festivals before culminating in a two-night stand at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 24 and 25. Along the way, the band will hit Asheville, Memphis, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Florida dates galore, with festival appearances at High Water, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and Bonnaroo.

Support across the tour will rotate between Joy Oladokun, Mon Rovîa, Lamont Landers, and JJ Grey & Mofro, reflecting a lineup that mirrors Alabama Shakes’ wide-reaching musical orbit—equal parts soul, roots, rock, and Southern grit.

To mark the announcement, the band shared a live performance video of “Gimme All Your Love,” filmed during their sold-out Forest Hills Stadium show earlier this year. The clip serves as both a reminder of their live muscle and a reassurance that the chemistry remains intact after a decade-long gap between albums.

That gap finally began to close this year with “Another Life,” the band’s first new original song in over ten years. The single topped Triple A radio, hit #1 on Billboard’s Adult Alternative Airplay chart, and marked Alabama Shakes’ official return under Island Records, setting the stage for their first full-length album since 2015’s Sound & Color, due in 2026.

Beyond North America, Alabama Shakes will also return to Europe and the UK for the first time in over a decade, highlighted by a headline show at London’s Alexandra Palace on July 3, plus festival stops in Belgium, Italy, Portugal, and Spain. Later in the year, they’ll join Zach Bryan for select stadium dates in Oregon and Delaware.

Tickets go on sale Friday, December 19 at 10 a.m. local time, following Citi and artist presales earlier in the week. As part of the tour, $1 from every ticket sold will benefit the Alabama Shakes Fund, supporting nonprofits nationwide.

After years of silence, side projects, and speculation, Alabama Shakes’ return has felt less like a reunion play and more like a recalibration—one rooted in patience, renewed momentum, and a refusal to rush the follow-up to a catalog that still looms large. With new music imminent and a tour that reads like a victory lap and a reset all at once, 2026 is shaping up to be the band’s most consequential year yet.
