Sublime’s Me Gusta Festival Drops Lineup: The Ataris, H.R. of Bad Brains, Codefendants & Punk Chaos Join the Bill

Sublime weren’t subtle about it from the start—“Me gusta mi reggae, me gusta punk rock.” Now they’re proving it. With tickets already on sale, Sublime have officially unveiled the full lineup for their new traveling festival Sublime Me Gusta, and it leans hard into punk history, underground attitude, and scene-level credibility.

Set to kick off May 9, 2026 in Fort Worth, Texas, the lineup announcement adds serious edge to the previously revealed Sublime and Slightly Stoopid pairing. Newly confirmed acts include melodic punk veterans The Ataris, hardcore icon H.R., genre-smashing agitators Codefendants, and rising projects like Jakob’s Castle and Strange Case—plus additional bands from the SVN / BVRNT ecosystem.

This lineup makes it clear: Me Gusta isn’t a soft-focus nostalgia fest. Pulling in H.R. of Bad Brains alone roots the festival directly in hardcore punk lineage, while The Ataris bring emotional, road-tested pop-punk weight. Codefendants’ presence bridges modern punk, hip-hop, and metal in a way that feels aggressively current rather than retro.

At the center, Sublime’s current incarnation—fronted by Jakob Nowell with Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh—feels more like a working punk band again than a legacy act. Me Gusta reflects that energy: confrontational at times, inclusive always, and unconcerned with genre purity.

Rather than stacking the bill with algorithm-friendly names, Sublime Me Gusta feels curated by feel—bands that belong in the same pit, the same parking lot, the same after-party. It’s punk in the truest sense: community-driven, messy, and loud.

Following the Fort Worth debut, the festival heads to Oregon on June 27, 2026 (venue TBA), with more stops expected. With tickets already available and the lineup now locked, Me Gusta officially becomes one of 2026’s most interesting punk-adjacent festival announcements.

Lineup announced today. Tickets are on sale now at MeGustaFest.com.
