Electronic music heavyweight and sonic boundary-pusher Subtronics is entering a new chapter of his live evolution. The Philadelphia-born producer has officially announced Cyclops Rocks 6, the sixth — and final — edition of his annual two-night takeover at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, set for April 23–24, 2026.
The announcement arrives alongside the launch of Subtronics’ FIBONACCI 2026 North American Tour, which kicks off January 23 in Toronto and marks his first full headline tour in two years. The tour supports FIBONACCI, his ambitious new album released in December 2025 via his imprint Cyclops Recordings, and signals one of the most expansive live runs of his career to date.
The End of an Era at Red Rocks
Cyclops Rocks has become a cornerstone event in modern bass music, and the 2026 edition will serve as its closing chapter — at least for the foreseeable future. Subtronics made history at Red Rocks in 2021 as the first artist to headline a full-capacity event following the venue’s post-pandemic reopening, cementing Denver as one of his most devoted markets.
Since then, Cyclops Rocks has sold out year after year, evolving into a destination experience complete with multi-day merch pop-ups and a fan culture that extends well beyond the shows themselves. Ending the series at Red Rocks feels less like a farewell and more like a definitive punctuation mark on a defining era.
Presale registration for Cyclops Rocks 6 opens January 15 at 10 AM MT. Fans can sign up for presale access at laylo.com/subtronics/cyclopsrocksvi. Tickets for all tour dates are on sale now at subtronics.net/tour.
FIBONACCI: A Conceptual Leap Forward
At the heart of the 2026 tour is FIBONACCI, Subtronics’ third studio album following FRACTALS (2022) and TESSERACT (2024). Inspired by the mathematical Fibonacci sequence — where each number is the sum of the two preceding ones — the album unfolds as a two-part conceptual project.
FIBONACCI: Part 1 – Oblivion leans into high-impact, live-set energy with tracks like “Lock In” (with Wooli) and “Stratosphere,” the latter earning recognition as one of EDM Tunes’ top original tracks of 2025.
FIBONACCI: Part 2 – Infinity takes a more emotional turn, featuring vocal-driven collaborations with Linney, Grabbitz, Lyrah, and Royal & the Serpent — including a standout collaboration with ILLENIUM. The result is Subtronics at his most ambitious, expanding well beyond his signature sound while maintaining the intricate sound design that defines his work.
A Tour Built for Scale
The FIBONACCI Tour will bring immersive production and next-level visuals to arenas and large venues across North America, with multiple two-night stops in Toronto, Montreal, Dallas, Washington D.C., New York City, Boston, and Subtronics’ hometown of Philadelphia. Additional dates span Calgary, Vancouver, St. Louis, Kansas City, and Austin.
Select tour dates will feature support from a rotating cast of artists including Habstrakt, Juelz, TroyBoi, Whethan, and more.
Beyond the tour, 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Subtronics. He is set to make his Coachella debut in April, recently headlined Sphere for Unity in Las Vegas, and will reunite with GRiZ for GRiZtronics at The Gorge Amphitheatre in May.
From Underground Favorite to Global Headliner
From his early days as a self-taught producer and drummer in Philadelphia to selling over 376,000 tickets and grossing more than $20 million as a touring artist, Subtronics’ rise has been anything but static. Each release and live concept builds on the last — fittingly echoing the Fibonacci sequence itself.
As Cyclops Rocks closes one chapter and FIBONACCI opens another, Subtronics isn’t slowing down — he’s scaling up, reshaping what modern electronic live performance can look and feel like in the process.
