Goose are officially scaling up. The band has announced a sprawling 2026 summer headline tour that reads less like a victory lap and more like a statement of intent — one anchored by a two-night return to Madison Square Garden, multiple multi-night stands across North America, and a rotating cast of special guests pulled from across the jam, indie, and improvisational spectrum.
The tour kicks off June 13 in Toronto and stretches through late August, with highlights including two-night runs in Virginia Beach, Charleston, Raleigh, Boston, Saratoga Springs, Bend, and a late-summer capstone at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Along the way, Goose will also hit iconic one-night rooms like Merriweather Post Pavilion and The Greek Theatre, reinforcing the sense that this era is about scale without sacrificing intention.
Select dates will feature special guests including Julian Lage, The Disco Biscuits, moe., Greensky Bluegrass, and Buffalo Traffic Jam — a lineup that nods to Goose’s open-ended musical DNA and their comfort moving between scenes rather than staying boxed into one.
The summer run follows a packed 2026 live schedule that begins this spring, including April headline dates across the Southeast, a return to Austin’s Moody Center, and a top-billed appearance at Jam in the Streets in Athens, Georgia. From there, Goose will head back to Mexico for the second edition of Viva El Gonzo, their destination festival in San José del Cabo, before crossing the Atlantic for a long-anticipated headline tour of Europe and the U.K.
If the scope feels deliberate, that’s because it is. Over the last few years, Goose have quietly crossed a threshold few modern jam-adjacent bands manage to reach: selling out arenas while maintaining a DIY ethos and a deeply engaged fan base. Their rise hasn’t been fueled by radio hits or crossover features so much as relentless touring, freely shared live recordings, and a reputation for shows that feel genuinely unrepeatable.
That momentum carried into 2025 with the release of Chain Yer Dragon, the band’s fifth studio album, which arrived just months after Everything Must Go. Together, the records highlighted the dual nature of Goose’s appeal — tightly written songs that stand on their own, paired with an improvisational language that only fully reveals itself onstage. It’s a balance that’s earned them sold-out shows at venues like Radio City Music Hall, Forest Hills Stadium, and Red Rocks, as well as late-night TV appearances and festival headline slots.
Ticketing for the summer tour reflects Goose’s ongoing attempt to keep pace with demand without shutting fans out. Presale sign-ups are available now, with unique codes granting access to the official presale beginning Wednesday, January 28. The Red Rocks dates will again utilize Fair AXS registration in an effort to curb scalping and reward real fans.
As Goose continue their upward trajectory, the 2026 summer tour feels less like a milestone than a consolidation — proof that the band’s growth hasn’t come at the expense of curiosity, risk, or connection. Bigger rooms, longer runs, deeper improvisation. Same band, wider horizon.
$1 from every ticket sold will benefit Western Sun Foundation (WSF), a volunteer-run 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization that provides charitable support to small and mid-sized nonprofits in the communities Goose fans travel through.
