If last summer proved anything, it is that pop punk never really learned how to age quietly. Simple Plan have announced Bigger Than You Think! Tour The Sequel, a second run of their wildly successful US headline tour that picks up where things left off and pushes even harder into celebration mode.
The new leg launches July 24 in Las Vegas and runs through August, hitting cities that were left out of the first run. It also continues the band’s ongoing 25 year anniversary moment, one that has felt less like a victory lap and more like a reminder of how deeply Simple Plan’s songs are embedded in the pop punk bloodstream. The shows promise a career spanning set packed with staples like “I’m Just a Kid,” “Welcome to My Life,” and “Summer Paradise,” along with deep cuts that longtime fans have been waiting to hear again.
Joining them on every date are Bowling For Soup and 3OH!3, making the lineup feel like a cross section of early 2000s chaos filtered through a modern touring machine. Bowling For Soup bring their long running mix of punchlines and singalongs, while 3OH!3 continue to lean into the neon flash and irreverence that made them festival fixtures in the first place. Together, it reads less like a support bill and more like a full night designed around fun as a guiding principle.
In a statement, the band described the first Bigger Than You Think run as one of the best experiences they have ever had on the road, saying they did not want it to end once the final show wrapped. The sequel is their answer. Same friends, bigger reach, and a setlist built to honor 25 years without feeling stuck in them.
There is also a philanthropic layer baked into the tour. Simple Plan will donate one dollar from every ticket sold to the Simple Plan Foundation, which has raised more than three million dollars since 2005 to support young people in need and promote music as a tool for purpose and direction. It is a reminder that the band’s legacy extends beyond chart positions and throwback playlists.
Tickets go on sale Friday, February 13 at 10am local time, with presales beginning earlier in the week. If the first chapter was about proving the band still had it, Bigger Than You Think! Tour The Sequel feels like something else entirely. It is about embracing the fact that these songs did not just survive the era they came from. They outgrew it.
TICKETS: Tickets will be available starting with a Verizon and Citi presale (details below) beginning on Tuesday, February 10. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning on Friday, February 13 at 10AM local time at officialsimpleplan.com.
