Trent Reznor has suggested that Nine Inch Nails’ current “Peel It Back” tour could mark the end of the band’s time on the road.
During NIN’s March 1 performance at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Reznor reflected on the band’s early days playing the city before making a surprising comment to the crowd: “I don’t know if we’re gonna be touring anymore after this, but I’m proud of the show that we’re doing right now. And I’m fuckin’ grateful that you’ve chosen to spend your evening with us tonight.”
The Tulsa stop is part of Nine Inch Nails’ ongoing 2026 North American run, which is currently scheduled to wrap March 16 in Sacramento, California. The band is also slated to perform at Coachella on April 10 and 17 under the name “Nine Inch Noize.”
Nine Inch Nails previously stepped away from touring following their “Wave Goodbye” tour in 2009 before returning to the stage in 2013. As of now, there has been no official confirmation that this is the band’s final tour, and representatives have not issued a formal statement clarifying Reznor’s remarks.
While the future of NIN’s live performances remains uncertain, Reznor indicated late last year that the band has been actively working on new material and prioritizing Nine Inch Nails projects moving forward.
For now, the remaining March arena dates could carry added weight for fans — whether they mark the end of an era or simply another chapter in one of alternative music’s most influential catalogs.
