Los Angeles upstarts XCOMM have released their new single “Hot Pursuit / One And Nothing” via Blowed Out Records, pairing pure, confrontational velocity with a darker undercurrent of self-awareness. As vocalist Michael Gatto explained in the band’s official statement, “Hot Pursuit” channels everyday frustrations, while “One And Nothing” reflects moments of clarity and control.
The release follows the band’s recent Los Angeles support slot for Foo Fighters and precedes appearances at Warped Tour dates in Washington, D.C. and Long Beach later this year. The official video for the single is now streaming.
Locally, that same high-voltage energy will be on display March 5 at The Venice West, where the Regime Showcase brings together Jakobs Castle, Codefendants, and Strange Case, alongside XCOMM and Miles the DJ.
Positioned as a snapshot of where punk, alt-rock, and reggae-leaning counterculture intersect in 2026, the Venice West lineup reflects a new generation pushing against genre walls while keeping live performance at the center. If “Hot Pursuit” is about channeling frustration into forward motion, the March 5 showcase feels like its natural extension — loud, immediate, and built for a room that thrives on collision.
Tickets for the Regime Showcase are available via Tixr.
