Gorillaz Announce 2026 North American Tour in Support of The Mountain

Gorillaz are heading back to North America this fall.

The Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett created collective has confirmed a 22 date arena run across the United States and Canada in support of their new album The Mountain, which was released February 27 via their independent KONG label. The tour marks the band’s first extensive North American outing since 2022.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off September 17 at the Kia Center in Orlando and wraps October 31 with a Halloween finale at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. The run also includes a headline appearance at Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta on September 20.

Little Simz will appear on the majority of dates, while Deltron 3030 is set to perform on all shows.

On stage, Damon Albarn will once again be joined by the Gorillaz live band and a rotating lineup of special guests, bringing the animated universe of 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle and Russel Hobbs into physical form.

Rolling Stone previously described the Gorillaz live show as “an overwhelming pop spectacle, with Damon Albarn’s steady presence to keep the audience focused,” a fitting summary for a project that has spent more than two decades bending genre and format.

The Mountain continues the band’s unpredictable evolution. The album was preceded by singles including “The Happy Dictator” featuring Sparks, “The Manifesto” featuring Trueno and Proof, “The God of Lying” featuring IDLES, and “Damascus” featuring Omar Souleyman and Yasiin Bey. The project also includes collaborations with Bizarrap, Kara Jackson, Anoushka Shankar and Tony Allen.

The album follows a catalog that includes Gorillaz in 2001, Demon Days in 2005, Plastic Beach in 2010, Humanz in 2017, The Now Now in 2018, Song Machine Season One Strange Timez in 2020, and Cracker Island in 2023.

Recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s most successful virtual act, Gorillaz have spent a quarter century redefining what a band can look like and how it can exist across mediums.

Presales begin March 4 with KONG Card and Citi cardmember access. The Gorillaz artist presale takes place March 6, with general on sale beginning Monday, March 9 at 10 am local time via gorillaz.com.

VIP packages will also be available, offering premium seating, access to The Mountain Experience VIP space, and exclusive merchandise.

From arena takeovers to festival stages, Gorillaz continue to prove that the virtual can still feel massive in real life.

Fall 2026 is about to get animated.
