On March 5, 2026, Regime Music Group brought its extended musical family together for a packed showcase at Venice West in Los Angeles. The event, billed as Anti-Heros, featured performances from Jakobs Castle, Codefendants, Strange Case, and XCOMM, with DJ Miles Medina keeping the energy going between sets.
The show was presented with support from SVN/BVRNT Records, SRH, KROQ Locals Only, and The Bunker, highlighting the growing network of artists, labels, and platforms connected to the Regime ecosystem.
Opening the night were XCOMM, a young band that may not officially be part of the Regime roster but are close friends of the Regime family. Despite their age, the group played with impressive precision and confidence. Their set jumped from deep cut Queens of the Stone Age covers into driving original material that showed off a band already developing serious chemistry. The musicianship and stage presence made it clear these guys are going places.
Next up, Strange Case leaned into groove heavy alternative rock that immediately pulled the room in. Mixing originals with recognizable covers, the band got the crowd locked in early with their take on Talking Heads classic “Psycho Killer.” They also highlighted their recent release “HBK,” which has quickly become a standout in their live set as the band builds momentum toward their upcoming single “Sugar.”
Then Codefendants took the stage and the energy level jumped instantly. Known for blending punk, hip hop, and politically sharp lyricism, the band delivered one of the most explosive performances of the night. Their set had the crowd moving from start to finish and included a preview of the new track “Lonely Life,” offering an early look at material from their upcoming album Lifers, the follow up to their debut record This Is Crime Wave.
Closing the night was Jakobs Castle, fronted by Jakob Nowell, who managed to bring huge stage energy into the intimate club setting. Nowell moved effortlessly between big rock frontman moments and a more personal connection with the audience. One of the highlights of the night came when the band played “Ensenada,” the recent single from Sublime, which recently reached No. 1 on Alternative Radio with support from the Regime Music Group team.
By the end of the night, the Anti-Heros showcase felt less like a typical industry event and more like a gathering of a creative community. From young bands finding their footing to established acts previewing new music, the show demonstrated the wide range of sounds and personalities orbiting the Regime world and hinted at a busy year ahead.
