The Welsh countryside is about to get loud again.
Green Man Festival has unveiled its 2026 lineup, with Wolf Alice, Four Tet, Wilco, and Mogwai set to headline the long-running independent weekender.
The four-day festival returns August 14–17 to Bannau Brycheiniog National Park in Wales, continuing its reputation as one of the UK’s most carefully curated large-scale festivals. With a capacity of around 25,000, Green Man blends indie, electronic, folk, experimental, and left-field pop across multiple stages tucked into the hills.
Mogwai will open the weekend with a headline set on Thursday night, followed by Wilco on Friday. Four Tet takes the Saturday slot—marking his first time headlining the festival since 2019—before Wolf Alice close things out on Sunday. The latter arrive fresh off a major year, including a high-profile appearance at the 2026 BRIT Awards.
Beyond the top line, Green Man’s 2026 bill stretches deep. Artists announced include Cat Power, Sparks, The Beta Band, Aldous Harding, Anna Calvi, Cate Le Bon, Dry Cleaning, Nation of Language, and Wednesday, among many others. Additional acts include Shame, Mannequin Pussy, The Beths, Daniel Avery, Smerz, and Panic Shack, with more names still to be announced.
Founded in 2003, Green Man has built a reputation for balancing cult favorites and breakout names. Past lineups have featured artists such as Big Thief, St. Vincent, Father John Misty, Laura Marling, Fontaines D.C., and Kraftwerk. The 2025 edition was headlined by Underworld, Kneecap, TV On The Radio, and Wet Leg.
True to form, the festival extends well beyond music. Green Man’s programming also includes comedy, literature, science talks, film, and art installations, giving it a more immersive, community-driven feel than many of its larger commercial counterparts.
Tickets for 2026 are already sold out. Official resale is available exclusively via Tixel.
For fans of expansive guitars, patient build-ups, and electronic sets that blur sunrise and sunset, Green Man 2026 looks set to deliver another carefully plotted weekend in the hills.
