Ringo Starr Announces Long Long Road, Second T Bone Burnett-Produced Album Featuring Billy Strings, Sheryl Crow & More

Ringo Starr is keeping the road moving.

The Beatles drummer has announced a new album, Long Long Road, arriving April 24 via UMe. The 10-song collection marks his second consecutive collaboration with legendary producer T Bone Burnett, following 2025’s Look Up.

Co-produced by Daniel Tashian and Bruce Sugar, Long Long Road features contributions from Billy Strings, Sheryl Crow, St. Vincent, Molly Tuttle, and Sarah Jarosz.

Starr has previewed the album with the lead single “It’s Been Too Long,” which features harmonies from Jarosz and Tuttle. The track leans into the warm, Americana-tinged direction Starr embraced on Look Up, with Burnett once again writing or co-writing most of the material.

The album was recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles and backed by a core band that includes Paul Franklin, David Mansfield, Dennis Crouch, Daniel Tashian, Rory Hoffman, Patrick Warren, and Colin Linden — many of whom also contributed to the previous record.

“I’m blessed to have T Bone in my life right now,” Starr said in a statement. “After we did the last record, which I love listening to, this one just sort of happened.”

Burnett, for his part, described Starr as “a recording artist of the highest caliber,” adding that he wanted to surround him with “young masters” from the Nashville scene to inject fresh energy into the sessions.

Long Long Road Tracklist:

  • Returning Without Tears

  • Baby Don’t Go

  • I Don’t See Me In Your Eyes Anymore

  • It’s Been Too Long

  • Why

  • You And I (Wave Of Love)

  • My Baby Don’t Want Nothing

  • Choose Love

  • She’s Gone

  • Long Long Road

Starr will also hit the road this spring with his All Starr Band, including a June 14 stop at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

More than six decades after the British Invasion, Ringo continues to lean into collaboration, roots textures, and songs built for the long haul.
