Indie rock favorites Big Thief have announced a new run of North American tour dates for 2026, unveiling the Somersault Slide 360 Tour set to span late summer and early fall across the United States and Canada.
The newly announced dates follow the band’s previously scheduled European tour in April, May, and June. Big Thief will begin the North American leg August 2 in Burlington, Vermont, launching a trek that will hit more than 25 cities before concluding October 6 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver.
Stops along the route include Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, Indianapolis, Chicago, Minneapolis, Nashville, Phoenix, Seattle, and Vancouver, along with two California shows at Ojai’s Libbey Bowl on September 19 and 20.
Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m. local time.
The tour follows the release of Big Thief’s most recent album, Double Infinity, which arrived in 2025 and continued the band’s run as one of the most respected acts in modern indie rock.
Over the past decade, Big Thief have built a reputation for emotionally direct songwriting and expansive live performances. The trio’s upcoming tour will bring that sound to theaters, outdoor venues, and iconic stages across North America.
