Metallica Announce Intimate 2026 U.S. Shows With Suicidal Tendencies and Spiritbox

Metallica are closing out 2026 with a rare shift in scale, announcing two “intimate” U.S. shows set for November at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut.

For a band that typically headlines massive stadiums and global festivals, the roughly 10,000-capacity venue offers a much more up-close experience than fans are used to. The shows are scheduled for November 19 and November 21, and they will mark Metallica’s only non–Las Vegas Sphere U.S. performances of the year.

Support for the dates brings together two very different corners of heavy music. Suicidal Tendencies will appear on November 19, while Spiritbox are set to open on November 21.

The announcement arrives as Metallica gear up for a packed 2026 schedule. The band kicks things off in Europe this spring before returning to the U.S. in the fall for their ambitious Las Vegas Sphere residency, which has expanded into a 24-show run.

Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale April 10, with fan club presales beginning April 8. Given the smaller venue size and the band’s continued global demand, these shows are expected to move quickly.

For fans used to seeing Metallica in massive stadium settings, these November dates offer something different. Same band, same intensity, just a much closer view.

Fifth Members may purchase tickets early through the Fan Club Presale beginning Wednesday, April 8, at 10 AM ET // 7 AM PT. Get all the details about how to obtain your presale code and register for a Ticketmaster account.
