The Strokes Announce Global Tour Ahead of Reality Awaits

The Strokes has announced a massive global tour set to hit North America, the U.K., Europe, and Japan this summer and fall, alongside news of their upcoming album Reality Awaits, arriving June 26 via Cult Records and RCA Records.

Kicking off in June and running through late October, the tour will take the band across major markets and iconic venues, including a two night run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, London’s The O2, and Paris’ Accor Arena. Festival stops at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Outside Lands Music Festival, and Summer Sonic add to an already packed schedule.

Support across select dates includes a diverse lineup featuring Thundercat, Cage the Elephant, Hamilton Leithauser, Fat White Family, Alex Cameron, and ÖLÜM.

The tour announcement follows the release of “Going Shopping,” the first single from Reality Awaits. The album marks the band’s first new full-length project since 2020’s The New Abnormal, a record that reestablished their place at the forefront of modern rock.

Recorded in Costa Rica with legendary producer Rick Rubin and finished across multiple locations worldwide, Reality Awaits signals another evolution for the band while staying rooted in the sound that has defined them since their early 2000s breakout.

Fresh off a headline appearance at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, The Strokes are carrying that momentum into what is shaping up to be one of the biggest rock tours of the year.

Further information and fan registration is on thestrokes.com, with presales beginning Wednesday, April 15 and general on sale this Friday, April 17. To participate in the Artist Presale in North America you must sign up here by Tuesday, April 14 at 9am ET.

With a new album on the horizon and a global tour to match, The Strokes are stepping back into the spotlight on their own terms, proving once again why their catalog continues to define generations of rock fans.
