Last weekend’s Skratch N Sniff mixes delivered a stacked blend of classics, remixes, and new releases across both the rock and alternative formats, keeping the energy high from start to finish.
On the rock side, Rock Mix #1211 leaned into heavy hitters and festival-ready edits, with remixes of Pearl Jam, Linkin Park, and AC/DC sitting alongside newer cuts from Wage War and The Warning. The mix also spotlighted Everlast’s “Stones” and Codefendants’s “Lonely Life,” tying in current releases with the show’s signature throwback-meets-modern approach.
Meanwhile, Alternative Mix #695 brought a more melodic but equally dynamic lineup. Remixes from Arctic Monkeys, Blink-182, and Red Hot Chili Peppers blended with newer tracks from AWOLNATION and Bad Omens. The Pier featured track of the week, Surfer Girl’s “Lose Touch,” also landed in the mix, continuing the crossover between The Pier and SNS.
Both shows highlighted what Skratch N Sniff does best, flipping iconic records into high-energy edits while introducing listeners to new music shaping the alternative and rock landscape.
If you missed it live, you can catch both mixes now on SoundCloud.
