Underoath Announce Intimate “Van Tour” Ahead of Vans Warped Tour Return

Underoath are going back to where it all started. The band has announced The Van Tour to Vans Warped Tour, a unique run of intimate shows that strips things down to their roots before hitting major festival stages later this year.

Presented by Vans, the tour kicks off June 8 in Jacksonville and will take the band through small venues across the country, leading into appearances at Vans Warped Tour in Washington, DC and Long Beach, California. Along the way, they’ll be joined by special guest Held..

For Underoath, this isn’t just another tour. It’s a deliberate reset. Guitarist Tim McTague described the experience as a return to the band’s earliest days, traveling together in a van and playing the smallest rooms of their career. The goal is to reconnect not only with fans, but with each other, in a way that hasn’t happened in decades.

Keyboardist Chris Dudley echoed that sentiment, pointing to the energy of small, packed venues as something the band has been missing. After years of arena tours and large-scale productions, the shift back to intimate spaces offers a completely different kind of intensity.

The tour also ties directly into Underoath’s legacy with Warped Tour, where they built a significant part of their early following. By routing through smaller markets and independent venues, the band is creating a rare opportunity for fans to see them in environments that feel closer to their origins.

Dates on the run include stops throughout the Southeast, Texas, and the Southwest before wrapping into festival appearances later in the year, including Louder Than Life and Aftershock.

For a band known for balancing chaos and melody, the decision to scale things back may end up being one of their boldest moves yet. These shows are positioned as one-time experiences, capturing a version of Underoath that longtime fans remember and newer fans rarely get to see.

Tickets for all upcoming shows are available now at: https://underoath777.com/pages/tour.

With tickets already on sale and limited capacity rooms, this run is expected to move fast.
