Evanescence Drop “Who Will You Follow” Video, Announce New Album Sanctuary and 2026 World Tour

Evanescence are entering a new era with the release of the official music video for their latest single “Who Will You Follow,” a track that finds the band leaning into the chaos of the digital age while doubling down on their signature cinematic intensity.

Directed by Jensen Noen, the video pairs stark, high-impact visuals with an emotionally charged performance from frontwoman Amy Lee, exploring themes of misinformation, technological overload, and the search for truth in an increasingly distorted online landscape. The song’s message is direct and urgent, asking listeners to question what, and who, they choose to believe.

The single is already making serious noise. “Who Will You Follow” has become the fastest-moving rock radio single of the band’s career, landing in the Top 10 at U.S. rock radio in under four weeks and marking their first-ever No. 1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Songs chart.

The track serves as a preview of Evanescence’s upcoming album Sanctuary, set for release June 5. The project features production from Zakk Cervini and Jordan Fish, alongside contributions from Nick Raskulinecz, signaling a polished but heavy evolution of the band’s sound.

In addition to the album rollout, Evanescence have mapped out an extensive 2026 world tour kicking off June 11 in West Palm Beach. The North American run will include support from Spiritbox and Nova Twins, with additional international legs spanning the UK and Europe later in the year.

The band has also partnered with PLUS1, donating a portion of each ticket sold to humanitarian aid and medical relief efforts worldwide, while HeadCount will be present at select U.S. shows to promote voter registration.

More than two decades after breaking through with Fallen, Evanescence continue to evolve without losing the core elements that made them a global force — dramatic songwriting, genre-blending production, and Amy Lee’s unmistakable voice. With Sanctuary and “Who Will You Follow,” they’re not just revisiting that legacy, they’re pushing it into new territory.
