Last weekend’s Skratch N Sniff mixes are now live, and this one came stacked on both sides of the dial.
The weekend of May 30, 2026 brought Alternative Mix #700 and Rock Mix #1216, giving listeners another full blast of remixes, deep cuts, new releases and left-field collisions from across the rock, alternative, punk, reggae-rock and heavy music worlds. If you missed the broadcast, both shows are now available to stream at soundcloud.com/snsmix.
Alternative Mix #700 hit a major milestone for the Alt Show, moving through a wide-ranging set that jumped from remix-heavy classics to newer cuts and scene staples. The show opened with a Kastra remix of Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris” before moving into In Color, M.O.T.H.E.R., Bad Suns and All American Rejects. From there, the mix pulled in Beastie Boys’ “No Sleep Till Brooklyn,” MGK and Fred Durst’s “FIX UR FACE,” Paramore, The Neighbourhood and The Clockworks.
The back half of the Alt Show leaned into the kind of cross-genre energy SNS does best. The Clash, Codefendants, NOFX, Alt-J and Crazy Town all made appearances, while Segment 4 brought a full reggae-rock and alternative crossover moment with Sublime’s “Ensenada,” Cisco Adler’s “Mango Tree” featuring Mihali as ThePier.org Feature Song, AWOLNATION and Makua’s “Catch A Wave,” and AWOLNATION’s “Sail” in Feed Me remix form.
Rock Mix #1216 came in just as heavy, opening with AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” in Crookers remix form before rolling into Breaking Benjamin, The Hu featuring Jonny Hawkins of Nothing More, Beartooth and Architects. The show also featured MGK and Fred Durst’s “FIX UR FACE,” Social Distortion’s “Born To Kill,” Sleep Theory’s “Words Are Worthless,” Five Finger Death Punch’s “Eye Of The Storm,” Korn’s “Freak On A Leash,” Deftones’ “Be Quiet And Drive,” Nothing More’s Jonathan Davis remix of “Angel Song,” Everlast’s “Stones” and Wage War’s “Blindfold.”
Across both shows, SNS once again found the sweet spot between radio-rock familiarity and remix-show chaos. Linkin Park, Beastie Boys and Social Distortion crossed into both playlists, while newer names like Bad Omens, Jutes, Falseheads, Ryan Perdz, Nightshift Special and untitled helped keep the weekend fresh.
Whether you came for the heavy stuff, the alt remixes, the reggae-rock crossover or the Fred Durst and MGK track that has been making noise across the internet, last weekend’s shows are ready to run back.Skratch N Sniff’s Rock Mix #1216 and Alternative Mix #700 Are Now Streaming.
