The Paradox Kick Off Their Next Era With New Single “Good For Me”

The Paradox are moving into their next chapter with the release of “Good For Me,” a soaring new single from the Atlanta pop-punk and alternative rock breakout.

The track arrives as the band’s first new statement following a historic run on the Billboard charts and a wave of momentum that has pushed them from viral newcomers into one of the most closely watched young bands in modern rock. Written with Nick Furlong, whose credits include Blink-182 and All Time Low, “Good For Me” was co-produced with Andrew Goldstein, known for work with 5 Seconds of Summer, All Time Low, Yungblud and Bring Me The Horizon, along with Robopop, whose credits include Lana Del Rey.

Built around big hooks, emotional release and the kind of larger-than-life energy that helped define the pop-punk and alt-rock boom of the 2000s, “Good For Me” finds The Paradox sharpening their sound without losing the raw spark that made their rise feel so immediate.

The band also released an official visualizer for the single, pairing the song’s cathartic feel with gritty outdoor performance footage and candid moments from the group. Fan response was already building before the song dropped, with teaser content for “Good For Me” generating more than 4 million combined views across Instagram and TikTok ahead of release.

For The Paradox, the new single follows a major milestone. The Atlanta four-piece recently became the first all-Black band to reach No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart with their breakout single “Get The Message.” The achievement marked a massive moment for the group and a significant cultural shift within alternative music.

The band also found chart success with “Do Me Like That,” which reached No. 47 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart and No. 4 on Billboard’s Alternative Digital Song Sales chart.

Formed in Atlanta in the summer of 2024, The Paradox features Eric Dangerfield on vocals and guitar, Christopher “Xelan” Bernard on lead guitar and vocals, Donald Bryant on bass and Percy “PC3” Crews on drums. Coming out of a city more often associated with rap and R&B, the band have quickly become part of a new wave expanding what mainstream rock can look and sound like.

Their rise has moved fast. Within weeks of posting their first content online, The Paradox began building a massive audience. They now have more than 2.1 million followers across platforms, a Billboard Alternative Airplay No. 1 and tour dates alongside some of the biggest names in rock.

The list of artists publicly backing the band has only added to the sense that The Paradox are becoming something bigger than a breakout story. Billie Joe Armstrong personally invited them to open for Green Day at a stadium show, Travis Barker joined them on the single “Bender,” and the band has toured with All Time Low. Joel Madden, Jack White, Kid Cudi, SZA and LeBron James have also shown support.

Announced earlier this week, The Paradox have been selected for the YouTube Foundry Class of 2026, part of YouTube Music’s global artist development program supporting independent artists. Through the program, Foundry artists receive grants, dedicated partner support from YouTube, on- and off-platform promotional support, and educational opportunities designed to help them build their careers on their own terms. With “Good For Me,” The Paradox sound ready to turn that momentum into a new era. The single is polished but urgent, emotional but explosive, and aimed directly at the future of alternative music. More new music and a forthcoming project are on the way, but for now, “Good For Me” gives the band another reason to keep the conversation centered around them.

The Paradox are not just reviving big, guitar-driven alt-rock energy. They are helping reshape it for a new generation.
