Iration’s “Shoyu” is this week’s The Pier.org Feature Song on Skratch N Sniff’s Alt Mix, bringing the band’s island-rooted reggae-rock sound to the nationally syndicated remix show.
The track comes from Iration’s latest album Where It All Began, which arrived May 1, 2026. The 14-song album finds the longtime reggae-rock favorites reconnecting with the sounds and influences that first brought the band together, leaning into a stripped-back blend of groove, melody, dynamics and space.

Formed in Isla Vista, California, Iration built their fanbase through a mix of reggae, rock and pop influences while drawing heavily from the Hawaiian upbringing of several band members. Over the years, the band has amassed more than one billion streams, earned multiple Billboard Reggae chart-topping releases and established itself as a major force on the live circuit.
The timing of this week’s Skratch N Sniff feature lands as Iration continues the Where It All Began tour. On June 19, the band begins a two-night run at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, with Artikal Sound System joining the first night and Tunnel Vision joining the sold-out June 20 show. From there, Iration heads through Phoenix, San Diego, Costa Mesa, Saratoga and Avila Beach before additional festival and headline dates later this summer and fall.
