Bikini Kill are adding another major moment to their 2026 tour schedule.
The legendary feminist punk band have announced that they will perform at Olivia Rodrigo’s inaugural Daisy Chain Fields Festival on August 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California. The festival is being built around a charitable mission, with net profits from ticket sales going to nonprofit organizations dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls, including the Center for Reproductive Rights, Planned Parenthood and Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health. All artists on the bill have agreed not to take a profit from their performances.
Pre-sale for Daisy Chain Fields begins Wednesday, June 24 at 1 p.m. EST.
The festival appearance joins Bikini Kill’s expansive 2026 North American tour, which includes a headlining slot at Mosswood Meltdown in Oakland on July 19, an appearance at Bumbershoot in Seattle, LEVITATION in Austin and CBGB Fest in New York City. Several dates on the run are already sold out, including Portland, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Silver Spring and multiple Brooklyn shows.
Bikini Kill’s current live lineup features Kathleen Hanna on vocals, Tobi Vail on drums, Kathi Wilcox on bass and Sara Landeau on guitar. Since regrouping in 2019 for their first full shows since 1997, the band have performed to sold-out crowds around the world while continuing to spark renewed conversation around their legacy, influence and lasting relevance.
That influence remains undeniable. Bikini Kill helped launch the riot grrrl movement in the early 1990s, giving punk a sharp political voice that continues to echo through generations of artists. Their songs, including “Rebel Girl,” remain touchstones of feminist punk, while the band’s live shows continue to feel urgent, confrontational and celebratory.
The 2026 tour will also feature a strong group of support acts across select dates, including Alice Bag, Lambrini Girls, Ganser, Kilynn Lunsford and The Intima.
Kathleen Hanna has also remained active beyond the stage. Her memoir, Rebel Girl: My Life as a Feminist Punk, became a New York Times bestseller, and she currently hosts the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Music Makes Us podcast.
With Daisy Chain Fields, Mosswood Meltdown and a nearly half-sold-out North American run on deck, Bikini Kill’s 2026 calendar shows exactly why their rally cry still resonates.
