Skratch N Sniff came back swinging over the weekend of September 19, 2026, with two packed episodes spanning alternative, reggae-rock, metal, hard rock and the genre-bending remixes that have defined SNS for years.
Alternative Mix #716 brought together everything from Oasis, Gorillaz and Blink-182 flips to new music from K.Flay, Fontaines D.C., Slightly Stoopid, almost monday and more. On the heavier side, Rock Mix #1232 paired Metallica, Tool, Korn, Rage Against The Machine and Linkin Park remixes with new cuts from Wage War, Holding Absence, Fozzy, Dead Poet Society and others.

Alternative Mix #716
Alternative Mix #716 opened with a run that immediately showed off the range of the show, moving from Oasis’ “Wonderwall” Fitch & Hexl Remix into Phantogram’s take on Cold War Kids’ “Hang Me Up To Dry,” followed by Evalution’s remix of Vampire Weekend’s “A-Punk.” Little Image’s Colony House remix of “Out Of My Mind” and K.Flay’s “Ants” rounded out the first segment.
The remixes kept coming throughout the episode, including Heritage’s spin on Gorillaz’ “Feel Good Inc.,” DJ Dark’s remix of sombr’s “Back To Friends,” Arcando’s version of Fitz and the Tantrums’ “Out Of My League” and Jaydon Lewis’ take on Twenty One Pilots’ “Ride.”
The episode wasn’t only about reworks. New and recent tracks from The Unlikely Candidates, Slightly Stoopid with G. Love, New Constellations, Fontaines D.C., Dead Poet Society, almost monday, Strange Case, honestav featuring mgk and LEAP kept the mix moving between alternative rock, indie, electronic and reggae-rock.
Other remix highlights included Two Friends taking on Blink-182’s “I Miss You,” Tiësto remixing Cannons’ “Fire For You,” Fourth Co flipping Weezer’s “Beverly Hills,” Kasum revisiting Third Eye Blind’s “Semi-Charmed Life” and Seiren transforming Glass Animals’ “Heat Waves.”
ThePier.org Song of the Week: Slum Beach Posse’s “The Ocean”
Segment 4 also featured this week’s ThePier.org Song of the Week, Slum Beach Posse’s “The Ocean,” bringing together DENM, Jesse James Pariah, Landon McNamara and Benny Ranks. The track uses the changing ocean as a metaphor for learning to move through life’s highs, lows and everything in between.
DENM explained the idea behind the track:
“Some days are warm and calm, some days are cold and stormy, some days are pure fun. Just learn to ride the tides as they come and go. Life is like the ocean.”
“The Ocean” gave the middle of Alternative Mix #716 a laid-back change of pace before the show moved back into electronic remixes and alternative cuts.
Rock Mix #1232
Rock Mix #1232 took things in a much heavier direction, starting with Metallica’s “Seek And Destroy” Skazi Remix before moving straight into NEOTEK’s remix of Foo Fighters’ “Everlong.” Yelawolf’s “My Country,” the Syn remix of Slipknot’s “Psychosocial” and Wage War’s “Blindfold” completed a relentless opening segment.
Segment 2 continued with Entel’s increasingly familiar remix of Tool’s “Schism,” alongside Native James and Frisco’s “Never Been Scared,” a 2TD remix of Rammstein’s “Du Hast,” Replikant’s version of grandson’s “Brainrot” and From Ashes To New’s “Die For You.”
The middle of the show brought another round of remixed rock staples. Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song” received the Moonlight treatment, Evalution flipped System Of A Down’s “Hypnotize,” and Nine Inch Nails’ “As Alive As You Need Me To Be” was reworked by Pixel Grip.
From there, the show jumped between generations of heavy music with Alice In Chains, Fozzy, Disturbed, Marilyn Manson, Story of the Year, Korn, Creed, Godsmack and Five Finger Death Punch all appearing across Segments 4 and 5.
Dead Poet Society’s “Cold” also appeared on both Alternative Mix #716 and Rock Mix #1232, crossing naturally between the two sides of Skratch N Sniff’s programming.
The final segment closed things out with Saint Punk’s remix of Rage Against The Machine’s “Testify,” Letdown.’s “Do It For The Love,” a Wadnesday remix of Linkin Park’s “Numb,” DJ Hashbrowns’ take on Soundgarden’s “Outshined” and Ryan Perdz’s “Blood On My Love.”
