Skratch N Sniff returned for the weekend of September 26 with two more genre-bending hours of radio, pairing new releases with remixes, mashups and familiar tracks rebuilt for the SNS format.
Alternative Mix #717 moved through indie, alternative, hip-hop, reggae-rock and electronic remixes, while Rock Mix #1233 leaned heavier with metal, hard rock and crossover tracks from Falling In Reverse, Architects, Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach, Wage War and more.
This week’s Alternative Mix also featured Little Stranger’s “My Own Parade” as ThePier.org Song of the Week, following last week’s spotlight on Slum Beach Posse’s “The Ocean.”
Alternative Mix #717
Alternative Mix #717 opened with a run of reworked alternative staples, starting with Arctic Monkeys’ “R U Mine” De Soffer Remix and The Black Keys’ “Tighten Up” Brazza Squad Remix before moving into Temper City’s “Reverse Psychology,” a remix of Beach Weather’s “Sex, Drugs, Etc.” and Leap’s “Exit Signs.”
The second segment continued the mix-and-match approach with Twenty One Pilots’ “Stressed Out” Dave Winnel Remix, Fat Dog’s “Call It What You Want” and a mashup combining The 1975’s “Somebody Else” with MGMT’s “Time To Pretend.” Glass Animals and Strange Case rounded out the block.
Segment 3 brought in Tame Impala, Fontaines D.C., Julia Wolf, Muse and The Unlikely Candidates before the show reached its Pier spotlight in Segment 4.
ThePier.org Song of the Week: Little Stranger, “My Own Parade”
Little Stranger’s “My Own Parade” took this week’s ThePier.org Song of the Week slot.
The Philadelphia-born, Charleston-based duo of Kevin and John Shields have built their sound around a collision of indie, alternative and hip-hop, making them a natural fit for the genre-fluid approach of Skratch N Sniff. “My Own Parade” comes from the duo’s 2026 album Broken Hearted Boys Club, the follow-up to 2024’s Sat Around Trippin.
The track landed in Segment 4 between a Levity remix of Cage The Elephant’s “Come A Little Closer” and a Phrygian remix of Dominic Fike’s “Babydoll.” M83’s “Midnight City” followed before Slum Beach Posse’s “The Ocean,” last week’s Pier Song of the Week, closed the segment.
Alternative Mix #717 finished strong with new and recent cuts from K.Flay, Dead Poet Society, Phantogram, Slightly Stoopid with G. Love and Joyce Manor alongside SNS flips of The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Paramore, Foster The People and Milky Chance.

Rock Mix #1233 turned up the weight on the weekend with six segments moving through classic rock, metal, hard rock and some of the biggest names in contemporary heavy music.
Van Halen’s “Panama” Moonlight Remix kicked off Segment 1 before Nine Inch Nails’ “Head Like A Hole,” Nevertel’s “Last Breath,” Evanescence and Five Finger Death Punch set the tone for the rest of the show.
Segment 2 paired Metallica’s “Master Of Puppets” with Architects’ “Machine,” a Synoid remix of Breaking Benjamin’s “Diary Of Jane,” Pop Evil’s “Paranoid (Crash and Burn)” and Dead Poet Society’s “Cold,” which also appeared earlier on the Alternative Mix.
The third segment brought together System Of A Down, Yelawolf, Hinder and Linkin Park before closing with one of the weekend’s biggest collaborations, Falling In Reverse’s “JOSEPH” featuring Corey Taylor and Serj Tankian.
Segment 4 kept things moving with Finger Eleven’s “Paralyzer,” Papa Roach’s “See You In Hell” featuring Humankind, Dexter And The Moonrocks, The Pretty Reckless and Holding Absence.
From there, SNS moved through Limp Bizkit, Native James featuring Frisco, Rise Against, From Ashes To New and Wage War before closing the show with Poison, Nightshift Special, Pantera, another Falling In Reverse remix and Letdown.’s “Do It For The Love.”
