Skratch N Sniff returned for the weekend of October 10, 2026, with another pair of genre-bending shows packed with exclusive remixes, alternative favorites, hard rock heavyweights, and new releases from across the musical spectrum. Hosted by Malcolm Ryker and Christen Limon, the nationally syndicated program continues to bridge the gap between rock radio and electronic music, giving familiar songs new life while introducing listeners to emerging artists.
Alternative Mix #719 featured music from The Interrupters, Codefendants, Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Slum Beach Posse, and more, alongside reworked classics from The Killers, Gorillaz, Weezer, and The White Stripes. The show also highlighted Bedouin Soundclash and Collie Buddz’s “Bang-A-Lang (J-Vibe Version)” as ThePier.org’s Song of the Week.
Meanwhile, Rock Mix #1235 delivered a heavier lineup featuring Papa Roach, Linkin Park, P.O.D., Three Days Grace, Metallica, Sleep Token, Architects, and Beartooth. Remixes of tracks by Rage Against The Machine, System Of A Down, Slipknot, and Nirvana brought an electronic edge to the weekend’s rock programming.

The Pier Song of the Week: Bedouin Soundclash & Collie Buddz, “Bang-A-Lang (J-Vibe Version)”
A highlight of the Alternative Mix arrived in segment four with Bedouin Soundclash and Collie Buddz’s “Bang-A-Lang (J-Vibe Version),” selected as this week’s ThePier.org Song of the Week.
Released through Ineffable Records, the track sees Canadian reggae-rock mainstays Bedouin Soundclash team up with producer J-Vibe for a fresh interpretation of their collaboration with Collie Buddz. The new version builds on the original’s rhythmic foundation, bringing together the band’s signature combination of reggae, ska, and alternative influences with Buddz’s recognizable vocal delivery.
The release follows a successful run of theater shows for Bedouin Soundclash and adds to the band’s growing momentum surrounding appearances at events including California Roots Music and Arts Festival, Pouzza Fest, and Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival.
The fourth segment also included a Hairitage remix of Gorillaz’s “Feel Good Inc.,” a DJ Wood remix of The Clash’s “Should I Stay Or Should I Go,” and Oliver’s interpretation of Big Data’s “Dangerous.” Slightly Stoopid and G. Love closed the segment with their collaboration “Back Seat Drivin’.”
