Fans attending The Offspring’s “Let The Bad Times Roll“ tour were in for a devils threesome of a surprise at the recent sold-out show in Wantagh, New York on September 2. This surprise was reminiscent of a time when everyone wore striped long sleeve shirts under plain tee’s and The T-mobile sidekick was to must have accessory.
Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 and Pierre Bouvier of Simple Plan joined The Offspring, a band I personally thank for making the road rage anthem. The result of this unlikely yet likely alliance was an epic rendition of The Offspring‘s timeless hit, “Why Don’t You Get A Job?”
Three frontmen, each recognised for their contributions to the punk rock subgenre, came together in perfect pop punk harmony. Their combined vocals served as a testament to both their individual and group abilities. No Doubt the crowd was overloaded with nostalgia. Watch below for the performance and a collection of some of my favorite videos from each of these artists.
