Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic frontman of Black Sabbath, recently shared some significant news during the second episode of the newly revived “The Osbournes” podcast. The rock legend revealed that he is about to undergo his fourth neck surgery, and he firmly believes this will be his last.
This announcement follows Ozzy’s previous spinal surgery in 2019, which stemmed from a fall at his home. This incident exacerbated injuries he had initially sustained in a harrowing quad bike accident back in 2003.
During the podcast episode, Ozzy opened up about his feelings regarding the upcoming surgery. He candidly stated, “Tomorrow, I’m having my final neck surgery, which is going to be the last one, because I just can’t go through it anymore. Regardless of how it turns out after tomorrow, this is it, I’m calling it quits. I simply can’t endure it any longer.”
His son, Jack, inquired about his father’s state of mind concerning the surgery, to which the heavy metal legend responded with characteristic humor, saying, “Oh, it’s alright. It’s almost like heading in for a darn haircut now, you know.”
