Papa Roach Return With New Song ‘Even If It Kills Me’

Papa Roach has returned with the new song “Even If It Kills Me.”

The single, which marks the first new music from the band in three years, arrives as the group launches their “Rise of the Roach” Tour in Europe.

In the track, which you can listen to below, Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix declares: “Even if it kills me inside/ Even if you burn me alive/ I’d carry that pain that you don’t need/ I’d carry that weight that you don’t see/ Even if it kills me this time/ Even if I’m buried alive/ I’d give my last breath so you could breathe/ Even if it kills me.”

In an interview with Germany’s Rock Antenne, Shaddix confirmed that a new Papa Roach album is on the horizon. “At some point [in 2025], there will be a new record,” the singer noted, before cautioning that fans shouldn’t expect anything immediately. “Probably not — it won’t be till the end of the year at the soonest. But we’re really proud of the stuff that we’ve done. And I think the fans will be surprised. The fans that are coming to the shows are gonna be surprised at what we’re doing too. And so it’s gonna be a good time.”

Meanwhile, the “Rise of the Roach” Tour will see Papa Roach co-headlining with punk greats Rise Against. The North American leg kicks off in Houston in March. Stops include Phoenix, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, before wrapping on October 5 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Underoath will join as opener for the U.S. tour.
