Boston’s The Elovaters are back in the mix with “Pockets Full Of Sand,” teaming up with Bryce Vine for a laid-back, genre-blending track that fits right into their evolving sound.
The single marks the eighth and final preview of their upcoming album Shark Belly Motel, set to drop May 15 via Ineffable Records. It’s a closing statement for the rollout, bringing together their reggae-rock foundation with alt-pop polish and Bryce Vine’s melodic edge.
The album is shaping up to be one of their most collaborative yet, with additional features from Dirty Heads and DENM, continuing their trend of crossing lanes between reggae, alternative, and pop.
The Elovaters are coming off a major run, wrapping a 27-date headlining tour that included two hometown shows at MGM Music Hall in Boston. Next up, they hit a huge milestone with their first-ever headlining show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in May, which has already sold out, before joining Slightly Stoopid on the road in June.
