Social Distortion has returned with its first album in 15 years, Born To Kill. To celebrate, frontman Mike Ness will join Skratch N’ Sniff Radio this weekend, stepping behind the mic to host a special mix of the nationally syndicated rock remix show. Ness will play music from the band’s brand new album as he joins regular Skratch N’ Sniff personalities Christen Limon and Malcolm Ryker.
Skratch N’ Sniff Radio is heard on more than 75 radio stations nationwide across both Alternative and Active Rock formats, including its recently expanded presence in the Los Angeles market.
Orange County’s finest are back with a vengeance on Social Distortion’s long-awaited eighth album, Born To Kill. More than just the conclusion to a 15-year wait between Social Distortion albums, Born To Kill is a revelation: 11 songs of pure, unadulterated rock ‘n’ roll fury, joy, and catharsis, all imbued with the signature blend of defiance and world-weariness that has made founder Mike Ness a poet and sage to the dispossessed for more than 40 years.
Since launching on Southern California airwaves in 2003, Skratch N’ Sniff has built a reputation as one of radio’s most unique and influential music programs. The weekly two-hour mix show blends rock, alternative, hip hop, electronic, punk, metal, and beyond into a nonstop, high-energy listening experience. What began as a local radio experiment has evolved into a nationally syndicated brand heard on more than 75 affiliates each week.
