Rising alternative rock band, Bad Press, is set to release their latest single, “Got Me In Your Sights,” this Friday, October 9. The official music video will make its world premiere exclusively on the Skratch N Sniff radio program’s website at snsmix.com.
The new song blends the gritty emotional delivery of singer Tanner Loach with the dynamic rhythm section of Devlin Manning (bass) and Sebastian Erdman (drums), delivering an infectious energy while exploring an intense, unstable relationship as a game of pursuit in which attraction and danger become difficult to separate.
“It’s a dream about a girl trying to kill a guy,” explains Loach. “In this case, it’s me, and I’m kind of liking it, hoping it ends in a western-style shootout.”
The self-produced music video will debut on Friday, October 9 at noon Eastern on snsmix.com, home of Skratch N Sniff, the nationally syndicated rock and alternative remix show heard on over 70 stations across the United States.
“Got Me In Your Sights” serves as another powerful slice of Bad Press’s forthcoming full-length debut album, due in 2027. The band continues to build momentum with their brand of rock that blends modern alt-rock attitude with unapologetic emotional honesty. Their song “Circle Round,” which ironically does feature the band in a western-style shootout in the video, is finding its way to Alternative radio’s airwaves.
The track marks the sixth song from Bad Press; the last five recorded with producer Chuck Alkazian (Pop Evil, Soundgarden, Asking Alexandria) at Pearl Sound Studios in Detroit.
Hailing from Austin, Texas, Bad Press is an alt-rock trio known for high-energy live shows and hook-driven songs rooted in blues, soul, and classic rock. The band has earned a reputation for blending emotional grit with radio-ready melodies. Their music has drawn comparisons to acts like INXS, The Band Camino, and Spacey Jane, while carving out their own distinct lane in the modern rock scene alongside artists like little image and In Color.
