Sublime’s Reef Madness Cruise is preparing to set sail November 15-19, 2026, bringing together some of the biggest names in reggae, alternative rock, punk, and hip hop for four days of live music on the open water.
Departing from Miami aboard the Norwegian Jewel and heading to Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas, Reef Madness is shaping up to be much more than a typical music festival. The lineup brings together artists who helped build Southern California’s alternative music scene alongside newer acts pushing those same sounds in unexpected directions.
With performances from Sublime, SOJA, Common Kings, The Elovaters, Fortunate Youth, DENM, G. Love, and plenty more, there’s no shortage of talent aboard. But with so much music packed into four days, we’ve narrowed down five performances we absolutely refuse to miss.
1. Sublime

It wouldn’t be Reef Madness without the band at the center of it all.
With Jakob Nowell stepping into the role of frontman alongside original members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh, Sublime has entered a new era that honors its history while continuing to move forward.
The band’s latest album, Until the Sun Explodes, marks another chapter in that evolution, introducing new material while maintaining the unmistakable combination of reggae, punk, ska, and hip hop that made Sublime one of the most influential alternative bands of the 1990s.
For Reef Madness, Sublime is scheduled to perform two distinct sets, including a special 30th anniversary celebration of their landmark 1996 self-titled album.
That means fans could hear beloved tracks like “Santeria,” “What I Got,” and “Wrong Way” alongside newer material, all in a setting that brings together the community that has kept Sublime’s music alive for three decades.
For longtime fans and newer listeners alike, these performances are the centerpiece of the entire voyage.
2. Yelawolf

Alabama-born rapper Yelawolf has spent his career proving that hip hop doesn’t have to exist within a single set of musical boundaries. Known for his rapid-fire delivery, Southern influences, and willingness to incorporate rock, country, and blues into his sound, Yelawolf brings a different kind of energy to Reef Madness. Beyond his own releases, Yelawolf has continued expanding his work behind the scenes. He recently completed production on Everlast’s album Embers to Ashes, demonstrating his abilities as both a producer and songwriter. That collaboration makes particular sense given both artists’ shared interest in combining hip hop with traditional American musical influences. On a cruise built around Sublime’s genre-crossing legacy, Yelawolf feels right at home. His performances should provide some of the most hard-hitting moments of the weekend.
3. Long Beach Dub Allstars

Few groups have a stronger connection to Sublime’s history than Long Beach Dub Allstars. Formed in the aftermath of Bradley Nowell’s passing, the group brought together musicians and collaborators from the original Long Beach music scene, continuing the fusion of reggae, dub, ska, punk, and hip hop that helped put the city on the musical map.
Over the years, Long Beach Dub Allstars have established their own identity while remaining closely connected to the community that inspired their formation. Their 2023 album Echo Mountain High demonstrated that the band still had plenty of creative energy, delivering a collection of songs rooted in reggae and dub while maintaining their signature Southern California character.
Now, the group has been sharing mysterious teasers online, raising questions about whether another new release could be on the way. Nothing has been officially confirmed, but the possibility of hearing new material makes their Reef Madness appearance even more intriguing. And with Sublime performing on the same ship, this is about as close as you can get to a reunion of the musical community that helped shape the Long Beach sound.
4. Codefendants

If you’re looking for something considerably heavier, Codefendants deserve a spot near the top of your schedule. Blending punk rock aggression with hip hop production and rapid-fire vocals, the group has built a reputation for delivering chaotic, high-energy performances that don’t fit neatly into either genre. Their appearances at Aftershock and Louder Than Life in 2026 helped demonstrate just how effectively that sound translates to the stage.
Codefendants combine the raw intensity of punk with the lyrical delivery and rhythmic complexity of hip hop, creating a live experience that feels unpredictable from beginning to end. Their music also reflects the rebellious spirit that connects much of the Reef Madness lineup, where musical experimentation and a refusal to follow traditional genre boundaries are practically prerequisites. Whether you’re coming from the punk side or the hip hop side, this is one performance worth experiencing up close.
5. DIZZYISDEAD

Every strong festival lineup needs a few artists who might introduce audiences to something completely unexpected.
For Reef Madness, DIZZYISDEAD stands out as one of those performers. Drawing from a range of influences and approaching songwriting with an unusually personal perspective, DIZZYISDEAD has developed a sound that emphasizes vulnerability, experimentation, and emotional honesty. Rather than sticking to a conventional genre formula, the music moves between different textures and moods, creating something that feels both intimate and unpredictable.
That approach could make for one of the more interesting performances on a cruise otherwise filled with established names and familiar festival favorites. It’s often the unexpected discoveries that leave the strongest impressions at music festivals, and DIZZYISDEAD is one of the acts we’re most curious to experience live.
More Than Just Five Acts

Of course, narrowing Reef Madness down to five artists barely scratches the surface.
The full lineup includes reggae favorites SOJA, The Elovaters, Common Kings, Fortunate Youth, and DENM, alongside G. Love, Amigo the Devil, and a wide variety of performers representing different corners of the alternative music world.
The DJ lineup is equally impressive, featuring Cypress Hill’s DJ Muggs, longtime Sublime collaborator DJ Product, and DJ Mama Troy.
Together, these artists reflect the musical diversity that has always been central to Sublime’s identity.
Reggae, punk, rock, hip hop, ska, and alternative music have never existed as completely separate worlds within the Southern California scene. They have constantly influenced one another, creating collaborations, friendships, and new sounds that continue evolving today. Reef Madness brings that history together in one place while making room for the next generation of artists to contribute to it.
With two scheduled Sublime sets, performances from longtime collaborators, and a lineup full of established favorites and emerging talent, the cruise offers fans an opportunity to experience the broader musical community surrounding the band. And with the Norwegian Jewel traveling from Miami to Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas, the setting should make the experience unlike any traditional concert or festival.
Whether you’re there for the reggae grooves, punk rock chaos, or the opportunity to discover something new, Reef Madness has plenty to offer.
