Following their amazing performance at Glastonbury last night, Queens Of The Stone Age have been trending online.
Josh Homme and company drew a sizable crowd and unleashed sheer uncontrolled delight over on the Other Stage on Sunday night, with footage from set-closer Song For The Dead particularly catching the internet’s attention. This was despite clashing with Elton John, whose performance was officially one of the most watched Glasto sets ever.
Fans can be seen circle-pitting in a two-minute, 20-second video posted to social media as the famous song begins to scream into life. Josh then prevents everyone from peaking too soon:
“Wait a minute, I haven’t done shit yet!” he says. “Stop for a second! Stop! I haven’t done shit. I run this fucking place – you don’t go until I say ‘Go…’”
Now behold as that riff and those drums kick in, and see if you aren’t covered in goosebumps by the end of the video…
