Lol Tolhurst and Peter “Budgie” Clark both have roots as drummers in influential English bands. Now, the Cure founding member and the Siouxsie and the Banshees mainstay have joined forces with producer Jacknife Lee for a new project.
Today, the supergroup are offering the first preview with their new single “Los Angeles” featuring LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy. Their debut album of the same name, Los Angeles, arrives Nov. 3 via Play It Again Sam. The record stars plenty of substantial names, including the Edge (U2), Isaac Brock (Modest Mouse), Bobby Gillespie (Primal Scream), Mark Bowen (IDLES), and Mary Lattimore, among others.
