Kittie has just unveiled their much-anticipated and eagerly-awaited new studio album, ‘Fire,’ today. This upcoming release marks the band’s return to full-length albums after more than 13 years, and it’s scheduled to drop on Friday, June 21st through Sumerian Records.
Accompanying this thrilling announcement is the debut of their latest single, “Vultures,” along with its music video showcasing live footage from the band’s electrifying main stage performance at this year’s Sick New World festival in Las Vegas on April 27th.
Reflecting on today’s album reveal and their newest single, Morgan Lander, the vocalist/guitarist of Kittie, shares, “A decade ago, if someone had told us that we’d be releasing new Kittie music in 2024, we’d have brushed it off immediately. It feels like something beyond fate has brought us back together, empowering us to craft something daring and enchanting for you all. We’ve poured our hearts into this project over the past year, assembling the perfect team to bring this album to life. We’re beyond excited for you to immerse yourselves in the fervor and resilience of ‘Fire.'”
“Vultures” serves as a bold musical manifesto, heralding our band’s fresh start. It’s a cautionary tale for those with ulterior motives, who thrive on deceit. It stands as a declaration of liberation from the chains of exploitation and a reckoning for those who prey on the vulnerable in silence.”
