They’re not just teaming up for a regular gig; it’s a full-blown, glitter-infused, benefit extravaganza to support Bad Brains‘ vocal virtuoso, H.R.
This is the first-ever cosmic alignment of Sublime and the Nowell heir. This show also marks the grand return of Bud Gaugh to the Sublime stage since he bid adieu to the band in 2011. Talk about a musical reunion that’s been a decade in the making!
Now, for those not in the know, Bradley Nowell, the OG singer-guitarist extraordinaire of Sublime, left this earthly stage back in ’96 when Jakob was just a teeny-tiny 11-month-old rockstar in the making. Fast forward to today, and Jakob’s a solo sensation, strutting his musical stuff under the moniker Jakobs Castle. Meanwhile, Wilson’s still rocking it out with the singer Rome Ramirez in Sublime With Rome.
This powerhouse trio won’t be dropping the Sublime bomb for this particular performance. Oh no, it’s a special one, folks! Mark your calendars for December 11th because the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles is about to witness history in the making.
