Pop Punk Band 408 Drops Debut Album “Out Of It”

"Out Of It" by 408 Featuring Guest Appearances By Members Of Magnolia Park, Underoath, Sleeping With Sirens & More Is Out Now!

Alternative/pop-punk four-piece 408 have officially released their debut album Out Of It through BreakSilence Recordings/Regime Music Group today. Recorded with platinum award-winning producer/engineer Andrew Wade and Andy Karpovck (A Day To Remember, Neck Deep) at the The Audio Compound in Orlando, the album features guest appearances by Kellin Quinn (Sleeping with Sirens), Aaron Gillespie (Underoath), Josh Roberts (Magnolia Park), Titus, and Taylor Acorn.

This is by far the band’s most adventurous and ambitious effort. Our sound incorporates a little bit of everything and the album represents that. We don’t fit into the normal boundaries that are set by most artists,” said 408’s Mark Faroudi about the record. “We did some writing sessions in Nashville with Nick Bailey (Machine Gun Kelly, jxdn), who is a fantastic writer, to help us step outside of our comfort zone. When we hit the studio, we recorded with Andrew Wade and Andy Karpovck to really harness our sound.”

408 have been turning heads since signing with BreakSilence Recordings and they began dropping music from their debut albumOut Of It is a throwback to the anthemic sound that became soundtracks to countless Warped Tour and skate videos. It’s also a step forward, deftly incorporating sounds, genres and styles that dominate today’s musical landscape. The band’s addictive guitar riffs and massive hooks have been winning over audiences as they continue to connect with 408‘s infectious brand of pop-punk. 408 have now amassed 150,000 monthly listeners on Spotify that have registered more than 7 million streams already this year, and stacked up over a million views on TikTok.

As more and more new fans are welcoming to 408‘s eclectic sound, the band has also drawn press from the likes of Alternative Press, EarMilk, and Rock Sound Magazine. Even legendary pop-punker Mark Hoppus joined in the discussion when the band released “Mark Hoppus”, an homage to the blink-182 frontman, sharing the video on social media and saying, “Very honored! But have I ever been cool? Even without the name check it’s a jam!”

408 brings back the nostalgia of late 90s/early 2000s pop-punk and mixes in fresh elements of EDM, hip-hop and electronica to create something fresh and original. After releasing a series of EPs to break onto the scene, 408 was named one of Earmilk’s “Top Alt-Rock Bands of Summer 2020” and quickly became editorial playlist darlings at Apple Music and Spotify. 408 is finding their home blending the familiar pop-punk sound of yesteryear with today and tomorrow’s alternative, hip-hop, and EDM influences.
