Weezer have announced a North American tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of their 1994 debut album, Blue Album. They teased the run back in December, and it’ll happen in September and October, with support on all dates from the Flaming Lips and Dinosaur Jr. Tickets to all shows go on sale Friday, March 15 at 10 a.m. local time, with a fan presale starting Wednesday, March 13 at noon local time. See the full schedule below.
Before the tour begins, Weezer will also play Blue Album in full at an intimate Los Angeles show, happening on Lodge Room on March 15 with Dogstar (featuring Keanu Reeves). That celebrates the anniversary of their first show ever (which was opening for Dogstar at Raji’s in March of 1992), and tickets are sold out.
Weezer also said they have a reissue of Blue Album on the way, but there’s no word about that yet so stay tuned.
