The second song from the upcoming Dropout Kings Album, coming later this year, has arrived. “Lights Out” with Joe Cotela of DED is a sure fire hit, I’m not just saying that cuz I’m a sucker for a melody. Yes, that is one of the reasons but this song delivers all the makings of a mainstream slap.
You may remember Dropout Kings form their trap-metal hits “Hey Uh” and “Riot Music,” and possibly the viral cover of the Sam Smith and Kim Petras song “Unholy“. This time they teamed up with Joe Cotela of DED.
As artists grow we get to hear the changes with every single or album they drop and this my dear readers is no exception.
We all know the music industry is constantly changing, and with new artists and songs emerging every day, it can be tough to stand out. However, there’s always that one song that captures the essence of the moment and takes the world by storm. This song has what it takes to do just that.
“Lights Out” is a high-energy track that perfectly showcases Dropout Kings’ unique sound. The band’s blend of heavy guitar riffs and rap vocals creates a sound that’s both familiar and refreshing. The song starts with a guitar riff that quickly builds into a wall of sound that’s sure to get anyone’s heart racing.
As the song progresses, the rap vocals kick in, delivering a powerful message about fighting against the odds and never giving up (well, that’s what I think for right now I can’t be told otherwise until I see the lyrics)
One of the most impressive aspects of “Lights Out” is the production. The song is expertly crafted, with each element perfectly balanced to create a dynamic sound that’s both heavy and catchy. The production quality is a testament to the hard work and dedication that Dropout Kings has put into their craft.
There is no doubt the release of “Lights Out” will be met with a lot of excitement from fans. message of resilience.
In conclusion, Dropout Kings’ latest release, “Lights Out,” is a must-listen for anyone who loves heavy music with a rap twist. The song’s high energy and powerful message are sure to inspire listeners to keep pushing forward no matter what challenges they may face.
With this release, Dropout Kings are proving they are a force to be reckoned with in this fickle industry, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next.
Continued Below.
“Working with Joe & DED has been something we’ve wanted to do for a long time since we both come from Phoenix, Arizona, The track 'Lights Out' is one of my favorite songs on the album and Joe killed it! I think it’s a sound our fans have been wanting and missing.”
